Early Life
Born in 1982, Belladonna Rutherford is the youngest of the Rutherford siblings. She grew up being the more private, younger sister of her notoriously known brother, Eyes Rutherford. Belladonna, like her sister-in-law Brett Rutherford, attended the University of Oxford where she earned her graduate degree in Translational Health Sciences. Following in her father Roland Rutherford's footsteps, she started early to carry out her passion of humanitarianism by becoming involved in philanthropic and charitable programs, such as Rice for Africa (founded by Belladonna) & Save the Children.
Rutherford Family & Foundation
Many who hear the Rutherford family name will almost immediately recall the infamous media stories - most associated with Eyes Rutherford - involving mafia affairs, suspicious deaths, government infiltration, and crime; the result leading up to, eventually, fruitless criminal investigations & a manhunt for Eyes himself.
Media conjecture aside, the Rutherford family is also notable for their loyalty to charitable causes through the Rutherford Foundation. Although originally founded by Eyes, the responsibility of the Rutherford Foundation was handed down to Benedict Rutherford. Benedict, a philanthropist himself, continued the work of the family foundation until his murder in November 2019. After his death, Belladonna became more involved in the foundation in order to handle important responsibilities, preferring to stay out of the spotlight while taking on work.
On 7 August 2016, Belladonna met Brett Rutherford. Until that moment it was unknown that Eyes had a sibling other than Benedict. Unbeknownst to the two, they would later discover that they had attended Oxford simultaneously, following parallel paths.
