Lieutenant (The Lord) Andrew Albert George Campbell MP (born 5th August 1943) is a british politician, aristocrat and former military. He is styled The Lord Andrew Campbell, as he was the younger son of the 4th Duke of Argyll. He is currently a Conservative MP.
Early life and Education
Mr. Campbell was born in the Inveraray Castle. He is the younger son of the 4th Duke of Argyll. He is uncle to The 6th Duke of Argyll.
He enlisted the Royal Marines from 1962 to 1972, leaving as a First Lieutenant. He then married Amelia Johnson in 1967 and attended Oxford University, where he took a graduation in Law.
He lived most of his life in South Africa with his wife. He has an house there, which is normally used as an holiday house.
He became a widower in 1993, when Mrs. Amelia Campbell died of breast cancer with 50 years old.
Politics
Mr. Campbell decided to join the Conservative Party in 2016, when Samuel Faith won the Party leadership. Andrew ran as MP for South Blackpool where he won with a majority.
When Samuel Faith became Prime-Minister, Andrew was appointed Secretary of State for Transport.
